Réalisation d'un buste en bronze de Pierre Jeliote (1713 - 1797) pour la ville d'Oloron Sainte Marie

Lors de l'inauguration du buste à l'espace culturel Pierre Jeliote à Oloron Sainte Marie, département des Pyrénées Atlantiques (Béarn). De gauche à droite : le sculpteur, Monsieur le Maire d'Oloron Sainte Marie, Monsieur le maire adjoint à la culture, le marbrier qui a réalisé le socle en marbre d'Arudy.

Cette inauguration a été suivie d'une causerie de Monsieur Michel Fabre, secrétaire de l'Academie des Lettres Pyrénéennes. Musicologue et historien averti, il nous a commenté avec toute sa verve habituelle la vie de Pierre Jeliote, le premier en date des célébres ténors de l'Opéra, natif d'Oloron.

From the left to the right: the Sculptor, the Mayor, the Deputy-Mayor responsable for the art, the marble worker which has made the base with marble from Arudy.
This celebration was followed by a talk from Mr. Michel Fabre, Secretary of the letters academy of Pyrenees. Historian and highly educated in music, he has with his usual verve made a resume of PIERRE JELIOTE life, the first famous tenor of Opera, born in OLORON.
